NP Patience Yengo

I am an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree in advanced practice nursing. I also have a degree in Industrial Engineering, and a diploma in Information Technology, certified as a Healthcare cybersecurity information security and privacy Practitioner and IT Risk Management Analyst. 

I possess a broad range of knowledge as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in outpatient settings, in Assisted living and long-term care facilities, and as a provider in primary and urgent care.
My personal core values and beliefs are compassion, respect, kindness and providing competent and empathetic patient-centred care, and using best care practices in patient care. 

My professional goal is a holistic approach to mental health; creating rapport, building trust,
advocating for patients who struggle to be heard, educating and not judging patients and ensuring collaboration with the family and interdisciplinary teams.
